HP Officejet 4500 All-In-One Printer is an excellent printer that has a lot to offer at an amazingly low price.
However, it has taken a few hits from frustrated customers that are not afraid to speak their mind about how they did not like this printer.
One customer was upset that he could not get service when the printer started giving him problems after using it for a year.
It turns out, he could get service but the cost would be more than it would cost to but a new printer. It was suggested he upgrade to a nicer printer but he prefered to have it repaired.
By the time he pays the repairing cost he would have a new printer. We can certainly understand his frustration but sometimes an upgrade solves a repair problem better than a repair.
Another customer is extremely happy with this printer. He says the printer is easy to set up right out of the box. He's joyous about the HP Officejet 4500 All-In-One Printer because it's compact and has the same options as larger Officejet with all of the right standards.
It’s a scanner, fax machine, printer and copier. Just because it's small doesn't mean it can't pack the same punch as a larger printer. The scanner glass is 9 X 13 inches and gives high quality scans as well. It's also a fine looking printer sporting a glossy black color shell.
This user was hoping for Bluetooth capability but realizes that's a lot to ask for in a printer this size and price. The compact size is 11 inches deep, 17 inches wide and 8 by 5 inches high. Although small, it's very capable of getting the job done; in fact, the size is perfect for a office with very little space.
His only real disappointment is scanner; copier and fax will only take twenty pages at a time. Not a big problem for him but may upset others. The Officejet 4500 also accepts faxes without printing them.
The scanner quality excellent right out of the box without having to change the settings. This is a plus when you're technically challenged. Needless to say this user really loves the HP Officejet 4500 All-In-One Printer.
For the same amount of people who like this printer, you'll find an equal amount who hate it. When making a decision to buy a printer of this caliber and price you should always access not only what you want in a printer but what you need your printer to do to keep your work flow simple and easy.
